liked it a lot too and i was pleasantly surprised, because i can hardly make it all the way through 'return to cookie mountain,' and that's the only other tv on the radio album i have

the new ben folds is pretty meh. the only song i really like is "you dont know me" and i like "hiroshima", but the other songs seem way over-thought or something.

yeah the lyrics really beat you over the head sometimes ("bitch went nuts"). ben folds has a tendency to do that.

well the thing is i generally really like ben folds (rockin the suburbs doesnt have a bad song as far as im concerned) but as i said the new one has a serious lack of consistency. it's too aimless or sporadic or maybe just mediocre
