Even if you are deaf, how can you not notice a train coming? The ground shakes. A lot. Enough to shake houses from 10+ feet away. So if you're one foot from the tracks, how do you NOT notice this?

she was walking along side the tracks... she probably figured the train was going to just pass her... but she was standing too close and got clipped.
