Why do people have to name bands wacky names? Why can't you just use a good ol' fashioned normal name...
call the band Ted.

I'd suggest observing random objects around you and seeing what you get, or maybe just let random adjectives and nouns fall together.
Overly-wordy nonsense is also something I see a lot with bands, too.
Here's some of what I get:
"Novel in a Can"
"Electric Fishtank"
"Cardboard Computer"
"Adjective Noun"
"Flashlight in your eyes"
"Young Fistfight"
"Hot Live Nudes" <--- I bet this is taken, but I'd use it for my band if it wasn't.
"Facestabber"
"Adolph and the Hitlers"
"Splosion"
Something that could be initialed as "OMG", "LOL", or "WTF".
"Guitar Eater"
"Stop eating my pants"
"Lovely Weather We've Been Having"
"How to Play Harmonica"
"Lincoln"
"You're sick"
These were just off the top of my head.

It's kind of a fad. It makes the bands look more "indie".
