I didnt know Pirates was really that popular...132 million is insane. I saw it too, glad they left it wide open like that.
EDIT: I'm not sure if I'll be too interested in Pirates 3 if the entire time they're trying to rescue Depp...he's the only reason that movie is watchable. I don't give two shits about Bloom and that one chick.

I'm glad I've gotten into the habit of watching the credits. You never know when a comedy will have bloopers after/during them.

I always watch after the credits.
Like when I was watching the first Pokemon movie, they had Mew going back into the mountains or some shit like that after the credits. I was so amped because I was the only one in the theater that had seen the full movie.

don't worry, disney knows that, the director knows that, the writer knows that. depp got 20 mil for the next one, so he must have a huge role in it. my prediction is that the next movie will begin with them on the edge of the earth, about to save jack sparrow...who will make his grand entrance 10-20 minutes in the film.
plus, kieth richards' cameo alone is worth the admission price
one more: i missed the "after-the-credits" sequence.
