Yeah, I saw them at Blizzcon.
I met some singer once, but I can't remember anymore who he was. It was at the AMAs in '04 or so. I posted about it on .rules, though, so I don't feel obliged to go over the details of him being a creep again. Stupid drunken pedo singers. |
Holy crap, Ceaser's gonna flip when he hears you met Bob Dylan. |
that was the best post you ever made.
fuck, i might even give you a plus one if it werent for this retarded anarchy thing. _________________

Robbie Rist slept on our floor for a weekend once.
You might know him as:
(for older folks)
Cousin Oliver (brady bunch)
(or, for younger folks)
Michaelangelo (teenage mutant ninja turtles movie) _________________

I've met...
...
Shit.
...
...
Nobody, I guess.
I met and soon will be partially related to the guitarist from A Whisper in the Noise, which isn't a famous band... The most famous they've hit is that their cover of a Dylan song is going to be playing during the credits of his new movie.

Because no one would read it if the characters looked like that.
Serious.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I saw Donald Faison last night at a deli in LA. |

Um. I've raised chalices with a few bands. Most notably Alkaline Trio, The Suicide Machines, Motion City Soundtrack, The Toasters and most recently The Lawrence Arms. Sponge... remember Sponge?
Boyo will be pleasantly surprised to know that Mark Mallman and I have enjoyed white russians together.
I met Chuck D. who was pretty cool, although socially awkward. Who would have thought?
Henry Rollins is a dick.
Oh, and Ant. You know, that really gay comedian who hosts Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. I had the honor of conducting, in his words, "the worst nterview I've ever had". He was gracious about it, I guess. |

I've saw Samuel L. Jackson once in New York. My cousin from Texas whom I've never met was dating Steven Tyler for a while. I guess that doesn't count as meeting because I never met him. But its something! And I've been to the Hello Deli and met Rupert Jee.
Thats about it. _________________ secret agent super dragon |

My mom actually said to him: "Oh it's so nice seeing you again." Turns out, that before he got real famous. Clint met my mom at a rodeo in Colorado. _________________ MY BARF is TASTIER than Yours!!!

I went down my list and I've actually met or personally seen quite a few famous people, although maybe not celebrities as such:
- Terry Pratchett at a Q&A/reading/signing
- William Gibson, same
- Garrison Keillor, same
- Tina Yothers at a benefit bingo game at a coffee shop
- Gary Chalk (sp?) at the Transformers Convention Previously Known as BOTCON 2003
. . . That's all I can remember. |
