If you're wondering why I haven't posted in this thread, it's because I'm simply pro-gay, anti-Bush, and really don't have any other hard opinion on the issue. It's just a topic I never really cared for.

Against state-regulated marriage. If we're gonna reform marriage, it shouldn't really be a function of the state at all. So instead of a marriage, couples will get union'd by the state and married by their church.... but the legal rights and priveliges of marriage are a function of the union, whereas the marriage is worthless to the state.
I've put it far better before.

Seriously though, Phelps and his group are evil. Theyre the ones who said "Thank God For 9/11" and crap like that. I met one of their folowers, some weasel, thin hippie looking dude. he came up to me and said "Your momma shouldve aborted you". I have never struck back at any one since Jon and I broke up, but I clockdd him one in the face. I think I broke his nose. I also bruised my hand. I didnt arrested, because the SFPD refused to charge me since they hate them as much as I. They put me in the car without cuffing me, and drove me around the block. They let me go, after giving me hugs for what I did. Geez i was scared. Im not usually a violent person, and it takes ALOT to get me pissed, but this hippie crap got in my face.
