The bass guitar, actually. I had my first lesson on tuesday, and I've been practicing every day ever since.

Trying, anyway. I got in about 24 minutes today. 11 earlier, 13 around midnight. I don't want to be an "I hate my parents" punk, but I've always wanted to play guitar. The bass seems considerably easier, and it's only got four strings. (So far.) Anyway, anyone have a spare tennis ball for me to squeeze? Wink

Man, I should really get into practicing. My guitar. Yeah, the bass does seem like it's easier. But you don't see bass players wailing. Wink

Some people my family knows want to get together and jam. I proposed Ozzy. It worked! Somebody refer me an Ozzy song that has no solo, or a very easy one. Devastated.

my boyfriend teaches me songs on bass every now and then so that we can play "wild man" together.

My brother plays guitar. He's pretty good, actually. Only he's more into the Good Charlotte and Simple Plan type stuff. I guess, like Sharp said he's an "I hate my parents" punk.

It's kind of annoying, really.

Guitar (bass, acoustic, electric, resonator) is más fun. I've been at it for a few years now, and it's the only thing keeping my sanity. It's a really good feeling to play music (or in my case, abrasive punk rock noise) with your best friends, y'know.

Men playing the guitar is quite possibly the sexiest thing ever. Just the way they hold it, and the way their fingers move etc.

I suppose it's just as sexy for a woman, but because I'm partial to men....they seem to be a billion times sexier when playing. Especially when they're playing to you.

I wish I knew how to play. I took lessons when I was younger, but found the guitar awkward to hold (I was pretty tiny then). Maybe in the summer, I'll try and teach myself.

My bass instructor says I hold it very intuitively, and I have big fingers, which is good.

No, I'm not giant finger man. I'm just tall.

Yeah. Long. Fat fingers would be bad. I'm really tall and skinny. Underweight according to the BMI.

(BMI = 17.5)

Congrats on the first lesson man. Hope its something you keep up with. Nothing better than playing music, thats for sure.
