Everyone knows how to play Mornington Crescent, right?
(Hint: You've got to go through the London tube lines and arrive at Mornington Crescent station. Also, please try to stay with the rules.)
Okay, let's start. I open with Kenton, under South Style rules. _________________ these are some pretty old posts you're reading |

To play Mornington Crescent, you have to go along the London tube lines one stop at a time until you reach Mornington Crescent station. I started at Kenton (only under South Style rules!), so someone has to move to a station one stop away from it. _________________ these are some pretty old posts you're reading |

Why on earth would you assume everyone's heard of that? |

Kingsbury's on a different line than Kenton, TA. Kenton's on the Bakerloo line and Kingsbury's on the Jubilee. It'd be faster to take a bus from Kenton to Kingsbury than it would be to take the underground.
I take Kenton to South Kenton.
And remember, Mornington Crescent is on the Northern line, so make sure you plan your exchanges.
The easiest exchanges I notice to make are to get off the Bakerloo line at Paddington station, and switch to either the District or Circle lines up to Edgeware Road. Then switch onto the Hammersmith & City line and take that up to King's Cross, where you can get on the Northern line. Then all you have to do is take a different train at Eusten or Camden Town and you get to Mornington Crescent.
Then again, it might be simpler to take the District south from Paddington, interchange at Earl's Court, get on the Victoria line at Victoria station, and take that all the way up to Eusten. Travel time would be longer, but there'd be less time spent waiting at stations.
Ah, but wait, if you're going to take that route, then keep going from Victoria station on the District line, and you can get on Northern right away at Embankment station.
But then, why take District at all? The original Bakerloo line interchanges with Northern at Charing Cross. Yes, perhaps we should just take that route.
Right, so anyway, we're at South Kenton. _________________ Come into my den let me hear you cluck

I'm gonna assume that there are 5 or so people on this board that have heard of it. 10, tops. |

You can't open with Kenton under South Style rules as its on a diagonal. You would have to backdouble straight away which is just silly! |
