It can't snow in BC, that's preposterous.
Or do you live in the mountains or something? |
I live in the Okanagan Valley. Yes it can snow here. It can snow here alot. There is still lots of snow on the ground, and big enough piles of snow to be buried up to your waist.
Also I think a mountain is the opposite of a valley. _________________

Meh, none of it stuck around for very long, so it just turned the sidewalks into an irritating slush. Regardless, it snowed while I walked to school this morning, and it was glorious. |

So, today I was downtown Ann Arbor volunteering at the Community Television Network. I get all my cablecasting duties done in about and hour and a half, and since there wasn't really anything to be done, I took the rest of the day off and got a jump start on my Christmas shopping. I walk across town, planning my purchases so I can buy everything on the way back and not have to carry a bunch of stuff around. I reach the opposite corner of downtown, grab myself a hot bubble tea, and when I get outside the snow is just pouring down. I picked up a third of Alicia's presents and got to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of walking downtown in the snow. It was fantastic. Then, I came home and got everything wrapped and under the tree. I can't believe Christmas is still three weeks away! _________________ here comes the big ideas again, just like they did before and then,

Woo! Winter disturbance last night!
It was full of 30 cm of snow (woo) a lot of rain (boo) and we even had thunder and lighting for a while... IN A SNOWSTORM! (hoo?)
Luckily the snow survived, and it is snowing a bit more now. So we get to cover up that snow-ice with more snow! |
