As I was trying to unlock my front door, I felt a quick, but kinda painful needle prick to the back of my neck. Naturally, I immediately swatted whatever was on my neck off, and ran around to the back of the house to enter from the backdoor in order to avoid the possibility more bites.

As soon as I came in, I threw off my shirts just to be safe (in case the fucker was hiding somewhere), and got my dad to inspect my neck. As I expected, there was a red bite dot squarely centered in the back of my vertebra. I took a benedril and some advil as a precautionary method, and now I'm just waiting around for more symptoms to develop before I do anything else.

So yeah, if you guys never hear from me again...

I think I'll be okay, though.

Never been bitten, but one time I was staying at a cabin in Maine, and let me tell you there were some freaking huge spiders hanging around that place. Let's see, at the bottom of the staircase where there was this big round window, and at night, sitting right smack dab in the middle of it was this enormous barn spider (looked a lot like this one). There were a couple of them around the window, as I discovered from sitting there and staring for a while. Also, at that cabin we had a lot of wolf spiders inside that we had to kill (what sucked was that they were so darn quick). And on the last day as we were leaving? There was this massive spider outside and above the door that must've been there the whole time, we just hadn't seen it. My dad fed it a large moth before we left. That was fun to watch.

Oh, and three years prior, we stayed in a different cabin where I kept being stalked by this spider that was shaped much like an octagonal star and could float on water. I don't remember much else, but it kept following me around and no matter how much I tried to kill it it just wouldn't stay dead.

I've been bitten by like six spiders while hiking in Colombia. Or at least I thought they were spiders. Couldn't really see too well in the dark. Nothing happened.
