They say it's the deadliest mass shooting in US history. Neutral

I have been out of touch with the world this last week. This is shocking!

Truly tragic, my thoughts and prayers go out to those who are suffering the loss of loved ones and the horror this has rained on the community.

32 people. This guy knew what he was doing. He nearly tripled the score by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. They got twelve, and with superior firepower no less. This is crazy. You can rest assured that at least ten completely unrelated things are going to get blamed for this though. All facets of the media are going to have to go on the defensive pretty soon.

Jack Thompson has already blamed this on video games!

On a more serious note, this is horrible. I hope no further damage comes of this, in the way of copycat shootings.

I would request that you have a little more respect in talking about those so quickly killed today, Tacofiend. How would you like it if I started talking about you as a score if someone came to your school and you happened to be mortally wounded?

I think he would be a little more worried about being dead, in that case.

That is brutal.

I was just watching a piece in the news about it, apparently, the university didn't alert anyone about the outburst of gunfire until almost two hours later.

After he managed to work his way to the other side of campus.

Mav does, I think, but he posted about it in the ministick so he's alive.

I'm alive, and no, I don't go (I got a nice scholarship from them, though). I'm really worried, especially about who actually died... Man.

I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request.

It may have come off as disrespectful to you, but I can assure you that I meant no harm by it. It is implied that I'm empathetic about what happened to those people and their families. I was just trying to make a comparison in regards to Matts' earlier comment. I've been watching it ever since I got home from school today.

It's a pretty rough deal. The administration didn't do a very good job of informing people of what was taking place and chose to send out e-mails to the students instead of finding a more immediate way to get in contact with them.
