Whatever. I had to wear headgear for eighteen hours a day (read: at school) for eight months, so forgive me if I think overbite surgery is for pussies.

My wisdom teeth? I had four very impacted wisdom teeth. The drilling took forever, and dry-socket sucked (ginger ale, whoops!), but aside from that it wasn't bad.

What was bad was having 29 teeth pulled in my lifetime. That's all 20 baby teeth, four wisdom teeth, four of my adult molars, and one really weird tooth that grew out of my lower gum. The dentist called it "supernumerary", which is totally a ten-dollar adjective.

...plus three years of braces, 1 year of a pallet splitter, 4 years of retainers, headgear, and two gingivecomies.

i think i can feel my wisdom teeth coming in, though i'm not sure if i'll even have to get them removed.

i didn't lose all my baby teeth until shortly before high school or something. they wanted to put me in braces in fifth grade or so before i lost all of them, that i remember. my teeth aren't perfectly straight but they're good enough. and i would need my jaw widened. and i have tongue thrust (my tongue rests on my two front teeth).

i've never had a cavity, tooth pulled, or anything. my dental record is freakishly squeaky clean. can't compete with troy.

I have one coming in. For a couple days it felt like some food was stuck back there. Then another couple days it hurt like a bitch. And now it's normal again. Confused

whoa! I'm staying out of this! I had braces for eight months back in the earlier years, and that was a real stinker. so yeah, no more dentists for me, man! It's not a thing other than bad or boring news behind the white door covered with the cardboard cutouts of anthropomorphic fruits and dairy products.

I had all four taken out, and they didn't come out super easy either -- I was told the doctor had to get on my chest and pull them out super hardcore. Fun. I had bruises on my breast bone for two weeks.

My experience was kind of like Ethans, cuz I was crying like a baby the day after because I was so fucking hungry but I couldn't eat anything. The gaping holes and gause and stitches paired with the intense pain was more than enough to keep food away from my face. I couldn't open my mouth very wide without it really hurting.

It took a week before I could eat anything more than those liquid meals. Then it was soup, with NO CHUNKS (cuz I tried one day and a veggie chunk got stuck in one of the holes...try fishing THAT out). Two weeks before anything solid.

Plus I had a puffy and bruised face. Not fun.

Wisdom teeth don't even exist. It's all a government mind-control experiment anyway.
