Dave, I am pretty thoroughly convinced you are a robot. In Japan, there is no difference between embarrassment and shame, but even though this is America, your posts in this thread have been so embarrassing that you should be ashamed. Like, I'm honestly creeped out that you're trying to defend your position on robot sex this far.
I can't believe I have to take this into a religious context, but I will. Look at it this way: we're humans, and robots are creations of humans. Not creations in the way that more humans are, but creations in the way that toasters and computers are. I already think dildos and fleshlights are a waste of time and an insult to the human race. Copulation with another person is fun and everyone can already do it without the aid of a human invention, so why bother? It seems like you're taking too many steps forward to achieve what you already have.
I mean, I've been hinting at this the whole thread but I guess no one has caught on to it, I think the only reason you would have sex with a robot would be if you couldn't get laid by a real person.

you're the one who brought up sex. I was merely saying that sex isn't some special thing that can only be experienced by fleshy humans. It's a sensation just like any other. So if "no sex" was your only reason to not become a robot, then that's a bad reason, that's all.
I don't advocate sex with robots.
