I don't think so. Maturing has only somethings to do with conformity.
Maturing is a realization of yourself and what "should be done." What guidelines have been set and what you choose to fufill or not.
There is no straight path of maturity.
For some there is no path.
SO ROUGH IT, MAN! PAVE YOU'RE OWN PATH. LET THE "MAN" KNOW WHO'S "BOSS"!

You shouldn't HAVE to go to college, it doesn't make you anymore of a man if you find what you love and achieve it with out a college education.
I'm not saying college is a bad thing, it should be a choice, not a requirement of life.
