So, uh, unless you have this game, don't talk to me. Your words are meaningless until you do.

It. Is. Amazing. Anyone who says otherwise can kiss my big, fat, Kusanagi Blade. Amaterasu has my pick for best female video game character ever now, beating out Samus for the title. Sorry if I sound so ecstatic about this, but this thing is truly amazing in just about every catagory of gaming I can think of.

Graphics: Pfft! Show me a game that looks better. This thing is in a class of its own almost.

Story: Do I like fantasy?: Yes! Do I like creative twists on already well-established legends?: Yes!

Gameplay: Shut up already! It rocks!

Judging from screenshots, the graphics aren't as mind-blowing as you make them out to be. I am a sucker for cel-shading, though.

From what I understand of the story, it sounds pretty generic.

I obviously haven't played it yet, so I can't say anything about gameplay. It looks passingly similar to Zelda though, and that can't be anything but good.

All in all, I highly anticipate borrowing this game from you.

i thought that the point of amaterasu was to be kind of sexually ambiguous for the most part--that's what i've read at the least.

i'm still in the fifteen hour prologue. well, that's what my buddies tell me when i say i've only played for about ten hours so far.

the game is beautiful, precisely because it doesn't aim for photorealism. i don't think i would've liked the game as much if it was photorealistic.

the game is about 50 hours, supposedly 15 hours for the prologue as i stated before. (i had thought that kingdom heart's two prologue was long at three hours... :P) so you still have 35-40 hours to enjoy yourself, i'd say. :D
