My current team in Emerald version:
STARMIE - Starmie
Lv 56 NAIVE nature
Moves:
PSYCHIC
BUBBLEBEAM
ICE BEAM
SWIFT <-great for pokemon that know fly, dive, or dig

GYRADOS - Gyrados
Lv 54 NAIVE nature
Moves:
SURF
DIVE
WATERFALL
HYDRO PUMP
(yeah, he's my water exploration guy)

BLAZER - Blaziken
Lv 67 RASH nature
Moves:
Flamethrower
Rock Tomb
Overheat
Cut

SWELLOW - Swellow
Lv 43 - (need to get her trained next) GENTLE nature
Moves:
AERIAL ACE
WING ATTACK
FLY
QUICK ATTACK

KECLEON - Kecleon
Lv 31 LONELY nature
Moves
HIDDEN POWER
ASTONISH
SKILL SWAP
SLASH
(mostly used as bait while I heal my good pokemon until I can train him up)

CASTFORM - Castform
Lv 30 QUIET nature
Moves:
FLASH
SUNNY DAY
HAIL
WEATHER BALL
(Yeah.... I need to switch this one to a better one in my PC)

tropius - 52
flygon - 52
swampert - 53

is it just me, or is battle frontier completely useless? what's the point of battling so much if your pokemon don't gain exp?

Somehow, I beat all 8 gyms in Sapphire with pokemon all around lvl. 35. I don't know how the hell I managed to do that. But now I can't get to the league because my pokemon suck. And I don't feel like leveling them up. Sad

I'm not hardcore enough to get Emerald. My sister has Ruby that I can borrow, so I'm pretty set.

I'm pretty interested in Ranger, though. The new capturing technique looks pretty interesting.

I also want them to bring Mysterious Dungeons to the states. That's the cooling fucking game concept EVER.

I always just leveled up two pokemon and one hit killed everything. The rest would be just below average.

Yeah, but Digimon sucks ass. And Pokemon doesn't. Being a charmander would rule so much. This makes me want to become fluent in Japanese even more. Surprised

I spent a large amount of last school year playing Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald roms. I had some pretty damn good teams, but then I got bored when I realized that it's probably impossible to trade when using roms - though if the case is otherwise, do tell.
