Well... It's over. Once again I didn't get a laugh out of either show.

silverman was pretty funny, south park was almost terrible. tourette's thing was really bad writing. surprisingly, the dated dateline stuff saved it. it seems like matt and trey forgot they had a season premiere to do

they didn't even exaggerate bono's face remotely in the south park episode, he didn't look enough like robin williams

yeah seriously i was actually kind of hoping it would hit harder. they didnt really parody him beyond the vertigo song. just saying "he's a piece of crap" and not elaborating on it is bad satire.

I found myself disappointed as well. Fucksakes, Bono is the unintentional king of comedy. He's like a continuously expanding library of bizarre words and actions. It seemed like Parker & Stone decided to pussy out on this episode. They no-holds-barred skewer every damn politician, Tom Cruse, or whoever. Then they just poke a little light fun at Bono because hey he's a good guy really and not any sort of pseudo-has-been egomaniac.

The episode didn't even have African children eating $1000 custom sunglasses. I mean come on!

A South Park-version of Henry Rollins should have ate South Park-version Bono.
