I had Shanktopia once. She was a proud and beautiful country. Socialist democracy, just how I like it. Then I forgot about.

my nations always stagnate at New York Times Democracy.

and then I get bored with them and they fade away.

My last nation was awesome... it had no crime, good economy, good political freedoms and civil liberties... killer income tax, though.

yeah, I think once I hit the point where income tax was at 50%, I just decided I might as well liberal out.

I'm pretty sure the only civil rights things I've banned are public nudity and cars. My public transportation system is the shiznit.

Yeah, in fact, it's very hard to be Republican in Nationstates. Without deficit spending and war, all you can do is be big business.

that said, I think that's probably why my economy's so good.

Oh yeah, and you can be religiony, but I usually dismiss most of those issues, since you almost always lose with those.
