I don't want this to get ugly, though I am surprised it has not had a topic. Has anyone seen it? Is it good? The usual questions..

There was a protester outside of my theatre. Apparently Christians were/are taking this story way too seriously...

It also looks like its going to continue to be very popular, although I've gotten a lot of mixed opinions.

i think we can all agree that the book was a horribly written good story.

and on that note, i think these crazy christians should lighten up when someone introduces a new idea to their already scientifically inaccurate religeon. the bible was never meant to be followed verbatim anyway.

I heard it was really difficult to understand if you hadn't already read the book.

I like the concept, though.

Not even remotely. It's all entirely obvious as to what's gonna happen next.

How'd you get a free ticket to go, any ways? Did you win a raffle or something?

my dad got this on audiobook, and I listened to a few snippets while converting it to MP3 for him. It sounds like the "Da Vinci Code" tells us what the Gnostic Gospels have been telling us anyway, so why was it a big secret?

Codes and secrets sell better.

anyway, he used too many long sentences, and seemed to kinda expect you to have some knowledge of the layout of Paris for the action chase scenes, so I found the audiobook kinda boring.

Wait until "The Beast" comes out.

Yes I agree, mainline Christians are taking this way too seriously. I remember when Christians tried to boycott the teletubbies because Jerry Falwell thought Tinky Winky was gay.
