Anyone else think Adult Swim is getting kind of sucky? I mean, they've put "Pee Wee's Playhouse" on there. I've watched about 4 episodes of it so I would atleast know what it's like, and that show sucks. Not only is it geared towards children, it is not funny at all. And then they go and put Gigantor on there, some show that was produced decades ago from when cartoons were black and white and people had like 3 frames for one movement. Not only this, but Futurama has been on there for years, and I say they need to replace it by now, because it's pretty boring after you've seen every episode too many times, and when it only has like 15 different episodes. Cowboy Bebop has also been on there on and off for a few years, and, it's not really a bad show, but they should replace it with a different anime seeing as they've had Cowboy Bebop for years. Anyone else agree?

I do agree that they need new anime (they're only running what, one series with new episdoes right now? last year they had at least two or three) but I personally love Peewee. It is a kid's show, but it's a bit fried. I have no problem with Futurama, but I don't watch every single episode so I still haven't seen all of them. Maybe they don't have a budget anymore, blew it all on something.

PeeWee was my childhood, and it was such an acid trip watching it last night. It's only made funnier but seeing Lawrence Fishburne as a cowboy.

They're adding some new cartoon about a death metal band sometime this or next year. I don't really watch adult swim all that much. When I do, it's usually for Futurama.

They're just on the verge of putting out a new wave of anime series, except this time they're doing it gradually with the staggered premieres of Eureka Seven and Bleach. Keep in mind that Inuyasha (despite the fact it is absolutely terrible) and Ghost in the Shell are still not over, too. Adult Swim is also not as anime-oriented too. I'd imagine that it's a lot easier to put on the in-house programs.

And on top of that, it's just television! You should be reading a book or something else instead.

So far I've never bought any kind of DVD from a show shown on Adult Swim. But I do plan on getting The Boondocks as a PSP UMD.
