Sorry to hear that, Rockman. I've never actually lost a cat (I've had the same ones for 10 and 8 years, respectively), but I can't begin to imagine how awful it would be if one of them did pass on.

It took about 6 months or so to get a new dog after mine died a couple of years ago. It was upsetting at first, but after a while it became happier, like it's as if your previous pet lives on in your new one.

I know that sounds lame, but it's true. Sorry, man. Sad
