I just watched the first nine episodes of Bleach. Pretty good.

Has anyone here read the Trigun manga? Story-wise, it's good, but the way that guy draws action scenes is REALLY confusing. It's like, he just draws half of the bodies of the people fighting, and then swirls of action and speed lines. You can't ever follow it.

i have the two original volumes, but not the maximum ones. i got them because it's two rather thick volumes and they're hardcover and they were a good deal. haven't read it in a while though. i remember it being good but one of those things that you have to read a couple of times to completely absorb. i like the art Very Happy

I never really got into Naruto. It's basically Dragonball with ninjas, right?

When you can actually understand what it is that you're looking at, the art in Trigun is really cool and unique. I really need to get more of it. I'm at Max. volume 5.

No, it's a lot better than Dragonball. There's a lot more to the story too.

woah. cody bleep was awesome.

the characters, music, animation all rocked. and the english dub was actually good.

now i just need to get my hands on that opening theme song Embarassed

i just finished vol. 1, vol. 2 is at the top of my netflix (unfortunatly im leaving in two days)

the show rocks. the first and fifth episodes blew my mind.

I've heard people complain that FMA was angsty, but man, Bleach...

Is there a single main character whose past isn't riddled with one or more tragedies?

Goddamn, I love Dragon Ball.

Akira Toriyama's style is perfect for both light comedy situations and all out war. And I'm even watching the dub because the dialogue rhythms are so ridiculous and poor that they're hilarious, there are just so many great things about this series.

I know it's not 1999 or 2000 anymore, but I can't help it. Devastated.

Dragonball is pretty great. That one mercenary guy killed somebody with his tongue, man.

Though Pilaf started to annoy me after a while. Maybe it was just his obnoxious dub voice.

Pilaf is annoying, yeah. But at the same time, he's also great - I love light comedy characters like him, Oolong, Yajirobe and the more perverted side of Roshi.

Right now I've been following DB on Cartoon Network again... it's during the Piccolo saga. Tenshinan is sweet as.

I liked Pilaf when he was the main antagonist. But when him and his underlings became the "Team Rocket" of the series, I got sick of him. Fortunately he didn't show up too much at that point.

Is it the original demony Piccolo, or his son?

The original demon. Tambourine culled off Kuririn a few episodes back, now Roshi, Tenshinhan and Chaozu are looking for the dragon balls, while Goku and Yajirobe are ... about to fight Tambourine, I think.

I'm going to try and buy Budokai 3 cheap next time I'm in town, hopefully should keep me occupied during the holidays.

Ah, okay. That was one of the few episodes that I actually saw when I watched Dragonball. I missed a ton of episodes in the latter portion, starting with the end of the Red Ribbon story arc.

Also watching DBZ, since it's still on as well. Trunks has just gone Back to the Future after defeating Frieza and King Cold, and Goku's back.
