Fine if you're tipping the Swans, but if you actually want them to win, then you'd have to be a dick. Swans are ruining the game with bastardized flooding. They rely on about 4 players and have been extremely lucky with them not being injured... those four probably being Goodes, Hall, O'Keefe and O'Loughlin.
West Coast deserve to win, and you should know it. They've worked harder than the Swans, who mostly played teams who didn't even get into the finals during the home and away season.
We have to cleanse this evil from the land.

More off topic still (but who gives a shit about Weird Al anyway)... the beers of the AFL teams.

12. Port Adelaide – (Kilkenny) – Nice taste but will never be a Guinness
13. Brisbane Lions – (Carlton Cold) – Used to be big but now just sits in the fridge
14. North Melbourne - (VB) Cheap, sturdy and strong.
15 .Essendon – (Crown Lager) - Good packaging but ordinary beer.
16. Carlton – (Invalid Stout) – What the bums drink. |
I think I had a 6-pack of Grolsh once.
Sydney = Corona.

Absolutely. I was supporting West over anyone else for that. Goodes has to be the worst dual brownlow medalist ever. Good player, just not deserving of the title.
If the Swans win, history will go down thinking that they were the best team of the last two years. But they weren't. Not even the second best (krowz 2nd best).

Trapped in the Drive-Thru is pretty hilarious. It captures the ridiculousness of Trapped in the Closet perfectly. By the way, if you thought Weird Al's 10-minute version was long, the original exceeded 40 minutes (yikes!).
Weasel Stomping Day is made tons better by the Robot Chicken video. I don't know why but it makes the song fairly tolerable.
I'll Sue Ya is pretty good. Weird Al got the style of Rage Against the Machine perfectly, but sadly Al can't replicate de la Rocha at all.
I'll post some other opinions later. |
