someone recommend a band i probably haven't listened to yet. i do a lot of bullshit work in the summer like mowing lawns and that's when i get a lot of listening in, so tell me about some of those hot new jams i'm always behind on

Well, I never thought I'd say this to you, but good call. And, since this is still technically the EPIC NERD/OFF, I feel compelled to mention that during an "interview" (I was, in all honesty, a pretty poor journalist) I got a chance to play Chad's Afri-Can. It was pretty neat.

Hm. It's probably pretty tacky to go off about the same band again when nobody's posted anything since, but man, the opening to this song "Revolutionaries" which only showed up on one of State Radio's singles is amazingly catchy.
