You know, vikings historically did not wear horned (or winged) helmets. Some of the early Britons and Germanic tribes did, and so did the ancient Mycenaeans (Trojan War era Greeks) but this was way before the first Viking invasion... they usually wore helmets that covered the top half of the head (with holes for eyes and a nose guard) or no helmets at all.
I actually like them more than any boring horned helmet. They're scary-cool.

I totally did it. Got myself weird stares all day. The best part was when me 'n Taco got into a huge Pirate vs. Ninja debate with this kid in our Art of Film class.
