Well, let's see... I've eliminated 3 bosses already and I think there are only... 5 left. That seems to me like I've taken a pretty hefty chunk out of the game. I only have four remaining brush techniques to learn as well. I still need the other two glaives and I have one rosarie left to get. I great deal of my time has been spent just goofing off with it though. I've nearly got my entire animal log completed, I spent some time finding the demons on that monk's list, and I've searched around for beads. I'm assuming you get the Kusanagi Blade for finding them all, which makes sense considering the manual states that "it's current whereabouts are unknown." Thinking back on it now, I wouldn't say that that what I just did was a prologue, but more of a half-way point.

And another thing; for those of you who've gotten to the fight with Crimson Helm, did anyone else think this guy was obscenely easy?

Most of the bosses are mad to be extremely easy; the only difficult part about it is to find their weakpoint and how to defeat them. If you're amazing, you shouldbe able to get a high bonus after boss battles on your first try, but good luck with that Neutral

Well, I pretty much mauled the Spider Queen and Crimson Helm withered before my might. I haven't died so much as once (meaning I still haven't used my Astral Pouch). I'd like to think that I'm pretty good at this game, but for the most part, this game is easy so it's not really anything to brag about.

Well most of the gameplay is heavily linear until you get around the point where I am at, since many opportunities suddenly open up

Where are you at? I'm in the process of ridding Sei-an (or whatever...) of the plague.

I just played it last night. It's a good game. The gameplay is sorta like a hybrid between Zelda and Viewtiful Joe, with the addition of the brush mechanic. The art style is very cool. I like how the outlines and shadows aren't really connected to the objects that are casting them or that they're defining. It makes everything look more fluid.

Well I decided to take a break from Okami to play TotA for now, seeing how Okami can be beaten easily; however, it was definitely worth the money.

i had just to revive this topic because okami has been on the forefront of my conversational skills for the past week or so. i don't get to play it often because of finals cropping up here and there, but my god, is it a fantastic game. it's the best thing i've played on the ps2 since ffx. i'm currently in kamui, and i know i will never bring myself to beat this game because i've become very emotionally attached to it. well, to ammy, anyway. issun has an attitude problem.

I finally got Taco to lend it to me. 'Tis quite fun. I just fought Waka for the second time. The rosaries are kick awesome.
