One of the problems of the internet. You don't know if people are serious.
As for the God=Allah thing, I agree. Muslims (which includes me, if you don't know.) believe that we have the same god, just different ideologies about Him. I could explain just this aspect for hours, but I'm too lazy, and I don't think anyone would read it if I did. |

Living Colour were awesome, but let's be real: heavy metal is the white mans' burden.
I guess I never really knew that there was contention about whether or not the god of Islam was the same as the god of Christianity and Judaism. I mean, Islam is an offshoot of Judaism, so it makes no sense that their god would be a different one.
I'd hazard a guess that any ideas about the god of Islam being different came about because Christians didn't like the idea of Muslims worshipping their god. BUT just because you don't like something doesn't make it less true. |
