Y'know, in a lot of the arcades I've gone to, all I see are little kids (Who play the ticket games and stand there with the house of the dead guns, pretending to play) and people in their early twenties. (The people who play tekken/ddr, or just come to show off how they can beat some shooting game in one go.) It's usually really awkward.
Of course, that's completely different when you go to a boardwalk/movie theatre/etc arcade. |

| I don't really have any awesome arcades anymore. There's a good Dave & Busters, but we used to have so much better. |

There's a Gameworks downtown that I go to when I'm waiting for a movie (there's a movie theater in the same building). I mostly play pop-a-shot or pinball games. I'm not a big fan of playing video games in an arcade.
My girlfriend and I are getting married soon, and I'm already planning on finishing her basement and converting it into a bar/ gameroom. Some day I want to buy a pinball machine for it. I already designed a little home movie theater for the rest of the basement. I got a couple rows (2 rows of 3 seats) of theater seats for $50 at this great warehouse near my current place. I'll probably make the third row a couch, so we can relax when it's just us. _________________

God damn. If I had a dave & Buster's/gameworks within easy driving distance...
Well, I'd be a whole lot happier and currently short about 100 dollars. |

Absolutely, Scandinavian. Congratulations.
Also, the best pinball game ever is the Guns 'N' Roses pinball game. Yes, it is real and I have played it.

Yes, it is real, and my friend has it in her pool room.
It is so good except sometimes when you get multiball they get stuck. _________________

The best pinball game I've played was the 'Tommy' game. Sometimes little shields would cover your paddles or the whole lower part of the game.
Medieval Madness is also a great one located at this bar down the street. There used to be people that would go to this bar specifically for the purpose of playing Medieval Madness. (It's kind of a shitty bar) _________________

I've always liked tales from the crypt pinball.
Then again, I've always liked tales from the crypt. Except the cartoon. The cartoon crypt keeper looked nothing like him |
There's a Crypt pinball machine in the aforementioned cinema arcade around here. I tend to play the South Park one more often though. Mostly because there's a little Kenny figurine you can kill. _________________

This shitty pizza place in my hometown used to have the best pinball game. It was called Black Rose, and it had a scantily-clad-lady-pirate theme. You could drop fifty cents into that game and play for at least a half hour. I'm not sure if that makes it too easy or what, but it was nice to feel half-decent at pinball for once.
I also have the six highest scores (out of ten) on the Street Fighter II pinball game at the King Koin laundromat in Marquette. I'm positive that most people were like "what the hell man that thing is loud and I'm doing my whites" and the pinball machine was all "SONIC BOOM!!!" |

It's true. If we are both talking about the same aforementioned cinema arcade around here, I've played it a few times as well. |
