I haven't watched the Simpsons enough to have a favorite episode. I blame this mostly on my parents because they wouldn't let me watch it when I was younger.

The Sideshow Bob episodes are some of my favorites. I'm having a hard time picking out one in particular. Marge Be Not Proud is another good one, if only for this moment:

Bart: [hurt] Hey, Mom, you didn't wake me up.
Marge: Here's your hot chocolate.
Bart: [looking at other cups] You didn't put my marshmallow in.
Marge: I think you're old enough to do it yourself now.
Bart: OK, I can handle that.
[puts a marshmallow in; it absorbs all the hot chocolate]
[Bart dumps it out on a plate and uses a knife and fork on it]
Abe: Hey! Give me a slice.

classic simpsons is a show I always forget to list as a 'fav' because it's just there and doesn't need to be said

however I'm completely against quoting the simpsons at parties under any circumstance whatsoever

I just remembered the episode where Selma and Troy McClure get married... A Fish Called Selma. Classic, mainly because of the Planet of the Apes musical.
