Working long nights at the factory, spending time at the pub with pals on the weekend, hustling through a ton of books, and fuckin' my girlfriend twice a day.

Aside from all the debt, my life is pretty rad.

since I'm not sure how good robdog's Wahlberg is, I'd say you're probably winning here.

Sometimes I feel I'd take on debt for the fulfilling life you seem to have, there, Dodge.

Seems like Debt is a necessary evil for a somewhat "American Dream" style-esque life, or too much debt that is. I work two jobs, one for the City as a GIS/SCADA tech, then by night I'm Batman/Assistant Manager at an Advance Auto Parts. My girl is about the best home-maker there is, raising our daughter and keeping me happy/spoiled. On the side I'm starting up 2 businesses, plus my band. I stay pretty busy, theres really never a moments rest. Literally. Those infinite quiet boring times you spend pondering what life would be like with a wife and independence in my younger days have been replaced with never having a spare moment to collect my thoughts, but thats part of that debt I suppose and the alternative is just going back to wishing I had these tijme constraints to complain about. Hopefully soon I'll have us back caught up from our Hurricane Ike era financial debacle and get things going back smooth again. Thats about all for me folks.

in the midst of my third year of college now, which is kind of shocking
doing genetics research, applying for summer internships in nyc, playing video games
being miserable as a ta for this month-long class... i have come to hate the faculty and staff i am working with, i really don't feel comfortable with them over my shoulder, and i'm afraid to ask them anything

as for for my ~future~, i'll probably take a year or two off after i graduate, then apply to either med or graduate school
i'm trying to figure out if i'd be happy doing scientific research for the rest of my life, right now i'm leaning towards "yes" but the job market is really freaking me out

you guys seem like you're keeping busy

Struggling with Ancient Greek II, translating Cicero's Pro Archia Poeta Oratio, seeing Phish on the first day of their reunion, getting drunk every weekend.

Yeah, freshman college life is not too bad here at FSU.

I'm also taking a Radiohead class for my English credit!! It's awesome.

All I Need now is for Bob Dylan to announce a Florida concert this year (hell, anywhere in the Eastern U.S.).
