I thought so. They cover you over practicaly anything. And if they don't make the version of your iPod anymore and it can't be fixed, they give you a new one.

I don't know, Apple customer service is pretty good... they gave me a new iPod after mine bit the dust. I doubt they'd cover "huge ass dent," though.
It might be time to buy a new one. |

Speaking of free iPods, Apple's running a deal through September where if you buy a Mac and an iPod Nano, you'll get a full rebate for the iPod.
