oh, i forgot to say where i'm going if you haven't heard me mention it. der and mav know, not sure who else.

hampshire college in amherst massachusetts. i nearly went to drew in joisey, but then i got dewaitlisted there and they gave me more money and they're not uber preppy.

i love the east coast, personally. i can't picture myself on the west coast at all.

I like the east coast better too. I can see myself living in Boston at some point. I have a few friends that go to Drew. One of them plays basketball.

Be careful with the Macbook... some of the software provided to you by the school might give you difficulties if you plan on using Mac OS. I've been extremely happy with my IBM-Lenovo Thinkpad. The new Thinkpad models are a solid choice if you decide on something other than a Mac product.

No, I wouldn't mind a side of fries with that at all!

Wink Kidding. Keep looking.

Hey! The only question that I'll be asking people is...

paper or plastic? Devastated.

I know my school reccomends macs for your computers, that's part of the reason why I ended up with one. If worse comes to worse you can just dual-boot too.

paper or plastic is still kind of bad sometimes. oh man, i had this crazy asian lady the other day who claimed she was overcharged for stuff but I had no clue what she was saying... it was bad. and since i'm a supervisor now i'm the one who has to deal with these things D: she was piece of work. she called the girl i was working with at the time stupid not once, but twice. :/

I have half a year to decide what I want to do with my life.

I'm going to put "I wanna rock." on my application.

I'm looking at either Hunter College Honors (CUNY) or Virginia Commonwealth University. Both are pretty rad schools, even if VCU is looking to eat up west Richmond.

That's true... you can get a PC, and if you want to use Mac software, just install Mac OSx86 on a partition.

Dealing with FOB's sucks all around. For some reason, ones named Nguyen and Tran are among the worst (not racist, BTW, since I never actually see them, so who knows what ethnicity they are). In a way, though, they're among the most American in the way they try to communicate: They think that if they gabble at you loudly enough, they'll somehow penetrate the language barrier.

I don't have to ask paper or plastic... we only have plastic bags at my K-mart.

In Europe, I hear they say "plastic or fling?" If you choose "fling" they just chuck all your groceries out the door of the store straight into the back of your car. Some kind of crazy conservation thing, so they don't have to use bags.

I didn't make that up, by the way. Well, the "plastic or fling" part, but the rest not.

I still think the High-Class service job is the best.

Working at a Five-Star Establishment really pays off (to the tune of $100-$200 a night in tips)

Mike, VCU? I mean, sure it's a pretty nice school, but it's in effing Richmond. The falling-apart part, too.
