I collected money along the way. If you take the time to get the smaller chests you can get the money in no time. I also went for the chest in my basement (50). I didn't finish the temple much faster than you. My time after I finished it was 1:55 so you were only eight minutes behind. We're honestly neck and neck. You'll probably catch up to me in the Goron Mines.

You're not picking up heart containers, are you? I'm doing it with three hearts. It also helps your time to skip cutscenes when you can, but I assume you are doing that already.

I skipped most of the cutscenes, but I liked the first one with Zelda too much to skip it. Probably why I'm behind.

So I was messing around with my first file and I managed to complete the second STAR challenge on my first try... Woot for me!

I just got to the 4th temple. I haven't played for about 2 weeks or so, so shutup. :'(

I can tell that the clawshot is going to become very useful.

Edit: I think I found a glitch. Either that or I'm stupid. It's stopping me from getting to the next part of temple 4.

Spoiler Ahead(since everyone that has the game has beaten or nearly beaten it I won't bother to put "spoiler tags" unless asked. )

Spoiler it anyway wrote:
So I'm at the room after the giant spiral thing (where you turn the center to move it up and down.) The room with the "hidden" spikes that jut up. Well at some points during my way through the room the game starts thinking that I'm walking in the sinking sand, even when I'm walking on the stone floor. This keeps me from getting to the door in time before the stone goes back into place (after I pull the chain to pull it back.) This has happened to me three times, and the last time I've gotten up to the skeleton without having a problem. So, what the fuck?

Damn, that happened to me a lot. The only way I could fix it was buy going out a door.

Okay, I guess that's a good enough solution if it doesn't happen again once I go back in. Hopefully it will just happen early next time so it doesn't take an eternity to get back to the door. Woozy

ROFL

Don't worry, you've encountered a common "problem". I myself had the same "issue". It's part of the puzzle.

So I've just been neglecting my speed run file for a while and decided to go and collect all of the Golden Bugs today. That was nifty... You know, the more I look at the trees in this game, the more I'm thinking I'm still playing OoT...

This game ended up being quite the disappointment, really. Normally I want to play a Zelda 5 times in a row. I haven't touched it since I beat it and fished twice.
