And yet watching that, it makes me think that it's cool. _________________

I knew the penguin's evolution would be bad ass. I just knew it.
It looks like they got really lazy with the new pokemon this time around though. 50% were new evolutions to the old pokemon.
I like the hippo. _________________

well, I don't know about you, but this is partly what I like about this new set of pokemon - the fact we'll be training older ones a lot, and then BAM, you've got something hella new, yet strangely familiar. and strangely excellent. a whole team of eeveelutions? I'm in.
honestly I think I'll save up for a DS just to play this, it looks very nice indeed - though I am somewhat disappointed with the graphics.
oh and the penguin one is - water and steel. awesomefun! _________________

Yeah, I traditionally always choose the fire starter, but the combination of the stupidity of the fire monkey and the awesomeness of the penguin means that this will be the end of that tradition. _________________

Water starter. Every time.
I wonder if there would be a way to bring your GBA pokemon to the DS?

Yeah, okay. Now that I think about it one of the things I didn't like about Saphire was the lack of older pokemon. Good call. _________________

I try to play at least one game with each of the starters. :X
though water or grass is usually my first choice - I like the grass starter too here, or at least his evolutions. _________________
