I hope they make it so you only have to tap L or R to cancel. Whenever I play Melee I can never cancel correctly since I'm so used to just tapping Z. Sad

If they end up using the Classic Wii controller, that really won't be an issue anyway.

Where? I recall them saying that they weren't using the Wiimote, and that they were still figuring out the controls, but "hang onto your Gamecube controllers."

That doesn't really say "we're using the Gamecube controller," to me anyway. To me it says "We might use it, so don't be so hasty in tossing it."

What I heard was you'll be able to use BOTH controllers, but they're not going to really focus on the whole motion-sensor thing for the Wiimote, since it probably wouldn't make for the same great gameplay they had in SSBM, which is why the GC controller will most likely be able to be used for Brawl.

My guess is that you'll be able to use both the Classic controller and the GC controller. Because if you never owned a GC and wanted to play Brawl, are they seriously going to make you buy a GC controller?

But you'd still need the Classic controller, which I'm pretty sure won't be included. They know not everybody can/will use the VC. So yeah, I'd say that they'd make you, but possibly drop the price of the controller.

I'd be willing to bet that the Classic controller will get packed in. If they don't pack it in, they'd be losing a lot of potential VC sales that I doubt Classic controller sales could make up for.
