I used to hate flip flops until this summer and I got a pair for project graduation. They're really good when you're too lazy to put anything else on your feet. Like socks and shoes. They're cheap as hell. And awesome for college showers and bathrooms!

i wear them if i need to go outside in my backyard and i can't be bothered putting on shoes, other than that, they sit behind my door with a plethora of weapons going steadily unnoticed or even unthought about.
