Yes, but I'm not a stupid fag who's offended by two insecure guys kissing in a commercial, then trying to act manly.
Also, blissful ignorance of that point makes the argument with Dodger that much more hilarious.
Like the difference between black people and niggas, there's a difference between gay people and faggots. Double Gs ftl _________________ I'M A TARD |

For starts, I know Tony smokes pole. His being gay is no more interesting than me being Swedish... actually, less interesting. Our personal sexual preferences really don't matter to the discussion. Like, if Tony is gay and not offended, then no other gay people should be offended? That's not just bad logic, that's not logic at all.
My point was made... it's a political move, and lobbyists are just doing their job. Sign o' the times. I won't rehash any more. I'm tired and I want a bagel.
Plus, were I gay, I would not let Tony speak for me.

And I wouldn't let a bunch over overly sensitive whiny faggots speak for me, and make me look like I'm offended by a fucking 30 second commercial.

| Okay, so Marquette is called the Queen City because it's like the capital of the Upper Peninsula. It's got nothing to do with my lace garters. Plus I live in Flint now. Holla! |

For a moment I thought the idiots complaining would be all the homophobic men that watch the Super Bowl.
But yeah, anybody who thinks the commercial was offensive is freaking stupid.
Personally though, I hope that they make new, updated version of the commercial where the two in question are hot chicks. That'd be hot. |

Amen.
I originally wasn't suprised that it was pulled, but kinda shocked when i heard WHO was involved. Thes LGBT groups felt that it deepens cultural fears and hostility towards gays. I could see that BUT whining about it isnt going to make it any better. the groups were idiotic for bitching about it.
And Tony, You never cease to enlighten me with your up front, yet harsh at times views on things. I may not agree with some of your opinions, but I highly respect you for being outspoken.

Okay... I don't get it. You can see their point, but they're idiots for expressing it? I'm sorry Steve, but that doesn't make any sense. If you can see where they're coming from, and they have a point, why should they keep quiet? Just because you and I don't think it's a big deal?
If they didn't have a point, would Snickers have pulled the commercial? I mean, they spent how many gazillion dollars to have it aired...
Case in point: the old "that lady sued McDonalds because her coffee was hot and America is totally court-crazy" story. What a whiny bitch, right? She ought to just suck it up and quit complaining, because coffee is supposed to be hot. Check it out. |
