I took both of them, and... I don't remember what happened. You can't blame me - that was seriously like, 7 or 8 years ago. I remember I was able to take calculus during my first semester of college, so I met whatever math score was necessary for that. Outside of that, who even knows.
Needless to say, the ACT and SAT were really very important to me.
The MCAT is a whole other story, though. I can talk for a really long time about how I did on that friggin thing. I won't, though. I won't. |

i can't wait to forget all my scores. seriously. honest to god, i want them purged from my head.
but i guess the fact that i have absolutely no clue what my gpa actually was during all of high school is more telling of my attitude towards academics. when i was applying to schools i was just thinking "uhhh this school sounds cool and i think this gpa is similar enough to mine... eh whatever." _________________

Me too. I like how 29 is above average, but you're not, you know, one of those guys. It's a modest victory. Also, I didn't know you went to Specs Howard. You won't regret it (theoretically). |
Yeah, if there were actually any jobs to be found around here. |
That's because radio is gasping its last breath. Wait... they didn't tell you that in orientation? Go into television.
Ironically, I had to move to Flint to get a job in the auto industry. |

LOL. Only living on the South Dort Highway. The Dort is where all the prostitution and drug busts happen. It's like... notorious.
So, yeah. I live in the shittiest part of the city with the highest violent crime rate in America. Enjoy me while I last. |

I took the PSAT, and got 205. I never received an actual results thing in the mail like I was supposed to, so I don't know how I did on the individual sections. Apparently, this score equates to just lower than about a 1420 on the old SAT scoring thing, and a 2100 on the new ones. I'm not actually sure on that, I found this on wiki.
I have no idea what these scores mean, to be honest. _________________ Homsars Girl n. a bagpipe bent on engulfing the world in a mix of pepper and ketchup.

Wow, apparently you had no idea that I went to Specs because they gave me a full scholarship based on my desire to enter the video post production business. I barely got through the radio portions of the first semester at Specs, graduated top of my class in video, and have been trying to really start a career in video for over a year now. I also took Media Power classes for Avid, Avid Efects, and Photoshop. I've been doing freelance videography for a company at the U of M for over a year, and have also done some Avid editing for them. For four months I've also been interning at Ann Arbor's Community Television Network, cablecasting, working on studio and live sports productions, and putting together some station IDs on Avid. Ever since I got out of Specs I've been in contact with people at Postique in Southfield and their parent company Grace & Wild in Farmington Hills. I've gone on four or five interviews, but they're always looking for someone with a little more experience. However, I've practically been told that I will get a job sooner or later, I've just got to wait for the right opening.
So yeah, you didn't know I was in video? That's how I met Alicia. She originally went to Specs for radio, but came back for video and joined with my class. She now works at the government channel in Canton. _________________ here comes the big ideas again, just like they did before and then,

So. Settle a debate. 1220/1830 (without/with the essay portion)
Good score or not?

dude, it doesn't totally suck.
i mean, you could still get into a good school or whatever with a score like that. probably not any ivy leagues, but still doesn't suck.
i think the average score in my town was 1000 or something. though i'm not sure about the college acceptance rate from that pool.
don't stress out over it.
