That reminds me. Why did they bring Scarecrow back for that one scene? And why didn't Batman just kill him there?

Maybe I should see Batman Begins.

Batman doesn't kill dudes.

Also it's probably because Cillian Murphy is rad.

I think they brought in Scarecrow because he's the only supervillian that's been introduced into the series so far, and a Batman movie should probably start off with an action sequence. Maybe cushion the audience's suspension-of-disbelief so that we're willing to accept when Harvey Dent turns from stand-up dude to crazed murderer in just a couple days? Or maybe remind us of the escalation of craziness in villiany that Batman has brought to Gotham? I dunno.

Dude Dent is supposed to be two-faced, and I think they're just playing on that by having him be both the light of the city and a sadistic bastard.

Also, peek at your own discretion... even if you've seen the movie.

And yeah I gotta see this again. Just to see the pencil disappear again.

I REALLY ENJOYED IT.

I can understand why Heath was so disturbed by the character.

That's about what happens in the comics.

By the way, I saw this last night and loved it. It's about time someone got the Joker right. "Wanna see a magic trick?"

Also, being someone who was dreading the thought of someone making a live action Watchmen movie, I actually was pleased with what I saw in that preview. I realized that as long as they are true to the plot and ending, I'll give it a fair chance.

I'm unconvinced over Dent's turn into Two-Face. It felt rushed. Everything else in the movie worked well, but that bit stood out too much. Okay. Eckhart does a pretty good Two-Face, don't get me wrong, but I feel like they just kinda tacked that bit on at the end. The set-up for it just wasn't strong enough.

Yeah, there wasn't enough time between the Joker talking to him and him killing people.

I loved this movie. I might see it again in theaters 'cause halfway through I had to piss really badly so that was kind of distracting.

I think the main reason why so many people want to see it again is because it was hard to pay attention to what Harvey Dent was saying after he became "Two-Face".

I followed what he was saying...? Confused

I want to see it again cause I've forgotten one of The Joker's best lines and I want to write it down this time.

I guess it's not so specifically about what he was saying - I simply wasn't happy with the VFX of his scarring. I was expecting something a little darker, redder, and not as see-through. It took me until half-way through the scene in the car with the mob boss before I was able to look back at the un-scarred side of his face, and by then I felt like I'd forgotten that he was Harvey Dent... maybe that was the intention, but I believe it distracted from really understanding the change in character.

That, and, the fuckin' sonar vision? LAME.

See, I thought the face effects were pretty great. I mean, in the comics Dent's face gets scarred with acid and turns green. I see Dark Knight's version as a definite improvement.
