I'd play, but 1) I don't know where my pogs all made off to and 2) I don't live in Michigan. _________________ Married to Terri.

I used to have the giant plastic cylinder for storing them. I had X-men pogs. I think there was even a pog notebook kind of like those YuGiOh ones, where the holders were circular. _________________

I found a pog a couple of days ago.
It was an 8 ball. _________________ beep beep I'm a jeep |

Slammers were awesome. I played it like marbles back in 3rd grade, and kept the person's pogs that I beat. But one day I bet a kid all of my pogs against his gigantic collection, and the prick beat me with a 1 lb. metal slammer.
Ever since that day I've died a little more on the inside every time I think about it.

That's sad...
I think that we should bring back a revival of pogs!
And to prove my point, I'm pretty sure this post is 1337! |

Remember when eight-ball logos were cool, especially because kids didn't know that "eight ball" is slang for 3.5 grams of... illicit treasure.

One out of every ten pogs is some sort of 8 ball. No joke. |

Well, after some strenuous searching, my pogs have been located. The one on top was a Demolition Man pog. No joke. Disturbingly, though, there wasn't a slammer among them, which raises some interesting questions. I'll have to look into this more thoroughly. _________________ Married to Terri.

Der, if you don't have a slammer, it will be difficult for you to locate one. Because it is 2007.
I always found the term "slammer" embarassing and avoided saying it whenever possible.
Some of my pogs have saw-blade edges. |

Oh yeah, I ended up finding them. Apparently I kept my slammers (and Trov Trouncers) in a different case. It was next to the other case, but small and not very obvious.
Also, You'd be surprised. _________________ Married to Terri.

I honestly think that's awesome. Screw the kids and their Naurto cards, and Yu-Gioh cards, and neopets cards. Everything is done for them, they have no understanding of slammers and 8-balls |

Oddly enough, I actually have a cap from the passionfruit-orange-guava drink from Haleakela Foods that started the whole thing. I remember the store in my hometown had "POG" in the coolers at the height of the pogs craze.
I don't know why exactly I saved this one particular thing for twelve years... It's in this big box of weird stuff I have. Other contents of the box:
1. A Heinz pickle pin from the 1940s.
2. A clip-on bow-tie.
3. One of my father's teeth.
4. A preserved frog wearing a sombrero, presumably from Mexico.
5. A small fabric US flag with 55 stars.
6. A Swedish coin in the value of 1 krona that I found in the gutter.
7. A fluorescent-pink rabbit's foot.
8. A signed (!!!) Jose Canseco rookie card, folded into a tiny paper airplane.
9. The only existing photograph of my aunt Linda during her adulthood.
10. A Stinkor action figure, sans armor.
There's more, but jesus christ I need to get rid of some stuff.
