Well. I got a head start on some of my applications for Teachers College. I apply this fall, to get in for fall 2007. I'm so so nervous, ya'll have no idea. Actually, you probably do. Hahaha. Just a warning, I'll probably be posting frantically stressed out posts come September/October.
I'm also saving up to buy a Macbook, next summer. I figure it'll be a nice treat for Teachers College, should I get in. If I don't get in, it'll be a decent amount of saved cash. Cuz I dunno what the hell I'll do if I don't get in.
Congrats to all of you who are headed off to College/Uni in the fall. You're gonna have the time of your life. I know I'm lovin gmy experience in University, and I'm kind of sad that this is going to be the last year of my undergrad _________________ Yep.

Mike, VCU? I mean, sure it's a pretty nice school, but it's in effing Richmond. The falling-apart part, too.
Hey now, Richmond's really nice, especially around the Fan and Oregon Hill. And what falling apart? VCU's not doing any of the sort. In fact, those bastards are expanding like mad. There's still a lot of lower-class black property for the school to steal and pave over. Remember when they started the Carver neighborhood fire and bought the condemned land to build dorms? I do.

Richmond's nice in part of the city, namely, Belle Isle. I mean, you can be historic, but I don't like it when the place is falling apart. Have YOU seen the roads by VCU? It's been under construction for years and they only seem to make it worse traffic-wise.
And I meant that Richmond's falling apart. VCU is just... eh, for me. I mean, I was on a tour and they completely skipped the engineering building, jeez. _________________

I'd say that Richmond is in good quality on the entire western half above the James. That's how a lot of cities look. I mean, you can't have Short Pump, brand-new, fresh-car-smell living every where. Then you'd just have Virginia Beach, and that place is so sterile that they have laws against cursing out loud in public.
