My ministry's coat of arms that I created.

"Showing Diversity Through Faith"

I was mistaken. I am not a Martinez (long and personal story bout that). I am a Griego, and suprisingly, the name has a coat of arms as well.

History: http://www.houseofnames.com/xq/asp.fc/qx/griego-family-crest.htm?a=54323=224

Our name is Italian decent.
By the way I redid my coat of arms and personalized it by adding the ChiRho and the Lamda. Its still being worked on. The American Heraldy Society may be healping with it as well.

Check out the website: http://www.heraldrysociety.us/index.php

Sorry for the double post. Announcing my new coat of arms, as emblazonned (drawn) by a member of the American Heraldric Society http://www.heraldrysociety.us/index.php . Theyre basically a society dedicated in preserving the art of heradry and the education of it in the U.S. I have learned alot, but am still learning. The termanology is very complex, but very cool.

Heres my arms and blazon (description):

Blazon of arms:

Or a wolf rampant azure, holding an eagle feather sinister within a border purpure with one Or ChiRho between two poppies Or chief. At base, two ChiRho Or between one poppy Or.

In english:

Gold background, a blue wolf on its hind legs holding an eagle feather in its left paw within a border of purple one gold ChiRho in between two gold poppies at the top. At the bottom, one gold poppy in between two gold Chi Rho.

Im not sure if I got that right, but like I said, Im learning.
Basically the whole COA has meaning at least to me. I found out that the website I got the Arms off of may have been from a person with the same surname, but not within my family. So I decided to create my own. After a few attempts, I came up with one design which was too cluttered. A member of the AHS madee one which is above. Allow me to explain the meanings.

The wolf and feather represents my native american heretige the color blue represents my birth colour which is of the birthstone for September (sapphire). the gold background represents the golden state of california as do the 3 poppies, which is the state flower. The number 3 in the poppies case is my favorite/lucky number. The 3 ChiRho symbols represent the Trinity (father Son, and Holy Spirit) the gold color represents the power of the Lord. The purple coloured border represents the royal colour of Jesus Christ. Technically, the border reflects my standing as clergy. The COA is incomplete at this time. I still have to add the helmet, mantle, and crest for it, but that will come at a later time.

Ok, I added the Helm, crest, Mantle, and Motto. The person who emblazoned it added the extra poppies, and ChiRhos. I did the crest and the mantle by hand. The helm is a basic added pic. The motto is translated:
"He Is My Strength"

I really don't want to seem mean, but I think you should have hired someone to make it look a bit more professional.
