What I meant was that the stones are caused by the food. The effect would be drinking water. Unfortunately, I think these particular kidney stones are hereditary.
*sigh* I guess I'm just gonna have to go through with it...
btw, this is what's going in me:

So yeah, you'll never guess what happened at the urologist this morning. Long story short, I don't have to have the surgery anymore. That's the second stone I've passed while in his office.
I'm going to change this to a kidney stone thread, so if anybody gets any stones, this is where to talk about it. |

| No, the doctor took it. He said it was a calcium stone, but that I should still drink milk and stuff. I just have to not drink tea or colored soda (lol racism) or eat chocolate. I think it's okay if I eat chocolate only on special occasions, but I don't even drink tea and the only soda I drink anymore is Sprite. I don't think I've had a colored soda in about a year. go me! |

| Well, the first stone I passed came out when I was giving a urine sample, and so did this one. I dunno what it is about that place, but everytime I have a stone it won't come out until I'm in there. Maybe the office being on the fourth floor has something to do with it? I don't think height really has to do with it coming out though... |
