| I can't wait for the special edition DVD of Knocked Up. I didn't think the theater release was long at all. *shrug* |

Yep, this was an assembly cut in the longest sense. Asking about, it was "not quite 3 hours, but close". 2.5-3? Eitherway, it was....

....almost entirely that! There were little drama bits here and there, lingering shots, lots more imrov bits (ever watch the "Know how I know you're gay?" feature on the Virgin disc?).....the majority of the movie was the same, just more tightly trimmed, WAY more of the fake vag/baby's head pushing out....
Eitherway, I thought it drug things a little too long for the theatrical, I'm sure cut material is back on the DVD, I mostly hated that we jump from "we'll try a relationship" to "oh, we're close to pregnancy and in love but having troubles!".....we never see WHY she falls for that doof. _________________ "It'll be dark by nightfall!" |

No, it's two hours and four minutes. So three hours is one and a half times as long. One and a half!
And most first cuts are really, really long. |
You win again, bro.
Anyone know what's next from judd apatow? The guy's on fire. |

I bought the Knocked Up 2 disc collectors edition DVD. It was kind of awkward when my dad sat down and started watching it.. but the extended scenes were pretty good. Now for that 3 hours of bonus footage.
Oh, I also bought The 40 Year Old Virgin. |

The dudes from Superbad were on Rove here the other week.
Rove is like Letterman only more of a weenie.
Anyway they were fuckin' funny, they were like "oh, so you can say 'suck dick' on Australian TV? suck dick!!" _________________

I saw them on Leno, but I wish I had seen them on Conan. Leno's audience kinda restricted their talking points, so it was pretty lame. |
