It would pull me down since it's also falling. And if I was holding it I'd be trying to support its wait by default. Grab some 100 pound weight and try to jump.

Weight does not effect falling speed. Period. The reason it's harder to jump is because your leg muscles have to lift the weight as well as you.

doing something heroic, like stopping a bank robbery, or defending someone from a mugger in the street, that way if i die, at least one person has something nice to say at my funeral, where i will be cremated with a recording of me screaming, "Help, let me out theres been a mistake!" while the coffing rolls into the furnace.
and afterwards i'll delegate a couple thousand dollars to an open bar for those who bothered to show up. so all in all, a good day.

i think i'm gonna die in a car crash. whether that means i'll be in a car or if i'm run over, i'm not. i dont wanna die that way but i'm pretty sure that's how it'll be.

either that or poisoning.

And I think water balloons fall at about the same rate a brick does.
