It was result of 3 things.
One: Bad coaching. After Cedric got injured, they didn't play Adrian Peterson enough. This wore Thomas Jones out, and put more on Grossman.
Two:Grossman. You can't be all blame okay. This is the biggest game in his life, and he's not amazing. The fumbles weren't all his fault, Kruetz has to share some of the blame, and one of the picks was Moose's fault.
Three:Defense. They didn't play their best, and they should've blitzed some more.
I'm glad for Peyton and all, but I have to say, Joseph Addai deserved MVP. |

Here's all three things wrong with the Bears.
1. Rex Grossman.
2. Rex Grossman.
3. Rex Grossman.
By the way, just for good measure, can anyone list all the songs Prince played during the halftime show?
Also, YouTube Prince halftime show links:
PART ONE
PART TWO
Notice that his essence keeps him dry throughout. |

I'm not saying I dislike Prince, since I've never listened to much/any of his stuff, but I really didn't enjoy the halftime show. Granted, it was better than previous years, it seemed like he was just moving his fingers randomly over the fretboard. And Proud Mary? That just bugs me.
I still think that ZZ Top was the last good half-time act.

You mean, it was a result of one thing.
Thomas Jones had what, 18 carries? No more than 20. No way was he worn out. Grossman barely had a chance to throw the ball the whole game until the end when it was too late. The defense couldn't get the Colts offense off the field. The game was decided by time of possession, where the Colts dominated. It's a miracle the score wasn't 49-17, considering how poorly the Bears defense played. They were chasing people through zones, and honestly, they played like a bunch of scared little girls. They just sat back and let the Colts o-line run right through them. If you want to beat the Colts, you have to be as aggressive on defense as they are on offense. That's why the Steelers beat them last year, they played super-aggressive, blitzing almost constantly. Really, the blame has to fall on their defensive coordinator for drawing up a shitty game plan. I mean, I can't imagine someone about to face the Colts in the super bowl and saying
okay heres what were gonna do. were gonna drop our linebackers to the first down line on every play, keep our safeties about 25-30 yards downfield at all times, so as not to get them caught up trying to defend the run, which Indianapolis is horrible at, amirite? okay, since our safeties are so far back we're forced to put our corners one-on-one against the best receiving tandem in the nfl. and were only gonna bring 4 guys on the pass rush every play, cause were totally not gonna get dominated. and as a final note, if anything starts not working, DONT CHANGE ANYTHING. THAT COULD LEAD TO UTTER AND TOTAL DISASTER. I MEAN SRSLY DONT CHANGE ANYTHING AT ALL. |

I'm sure this has been said, but did anyone notice that Prince was completely dry the entire time? It was pouring all around him. _________________ secret agent super dragon |

Oh man, that was one of the better commercials. This year they didn't really have many good ones. A lot of them were just normal everyday commercials, like award winning cars or someshit. The second Doritos one was pretty good but this year fails so much compared to last year. |
