I think I'm getting the Wii.

My reason:
It's much more original than the others.
It's cheaper than the others.
I don't own a Gamecube and the backwards compatibility is really enticing.
I want to play Donkey Konga.

What do you think?

Yeah, I agree. The Wii, at least for me, is the best use of my money right now. I'm not gonna get one, but if I did get a next-gen console, it'd be the Wii.

Sounds good. Get your cheap and easy fun with the wii, rather than saving yourself for a more expensive console.

I'm eventually gonna go Wii60, but the 60 part of that is probably gonna wait about another year or so. By then the 360 will be fairly cheap, as will many of its better games, such as Dead Rising.
