I was having a debate on my bus about who would win in a fight between Samus and Master Chief. I was pretty much solo in my fight to defend the bounty hunter I've come to know and love. I kept getting answers like, "MC is a baddass," and "MC is actually Chuck Norris under that armor." I realize that the two would never actually have a fight but I still want your opinion on who would win between the two. I've been doing some research and I've come to realize that MC stands more of a chance than I thought. I still believe Samus would win though. You share your thoughts with me and I'll give my input later.

Meh. I liked Halo, and apparently, so did a multitude of others considering that the first game alone sold over five million copies and was dubbed the Xbox's "killer application."

Because the xbox has no other games maybe. And sales don't mean the game is good, just popular. Halo is a subpar FPS. Everything in it has been done a thousand times before, and done better.

Know what's funny? You can hold more guns at once in Metroid than Halo.

Hmmm... since I'm not getting any reasons as to why she would win, I'm going to create some opposition here.

The SPARTAN program that John-117 and several others underwent exponentially improved their reflexes, strength, speed, and durability. The training also conditions all of them to be master tacticians. In order to give you an accurate understanding of the extent of his improvements; MC can run at a speed of 70 km an hour, has bones that are virtually unbreakable, has a suit that further enhances his abilities and also weighs half a ton, and his reflexes are increased to 300 times that of which he was previously gifted with. His vision is also enhanced far beyond a normal human's capabilities. He has plasma grenades, a sniper rifle, and the scarab gun at his disposal.

He could very easily stick a plasma grenade to Samus' suit, fusing it to her, and then run off to a safe distance. I'm completely ignoring the scarab gun in this scenario because that thing could very well vaporize her. Oh, Chief's suit also has a regenerating shield and radar tracking.

Samus uses her more responsive controls to avoid Chief's plasma grenade and while Chief slowly pumps his generic FPS character legs (chief isn't all that fast.)

Samus simply blows his head off since he isn't very acrobatic.

Samus' BS science is more ridiculous than MC's BS science, from what I've seen, so she wins. I mean, the charge beam freakin' bends space. There's really not much hope of beating that.
