Oops. I thought that article said it. Jack Thompson made some comments even I wouldn't make about the kid.

Let's pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer "buds," knowing he was killing himself, couldn't figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess.

Wait a second Jack! Isn't it a little hypocritical to critisize gamers for "wasting their lives" when you're the one who's constantly concerned about them? What's that Jack? You're a failure as a human being? Oh Jack, you didn't have to tell us that...

The conclusion you're SUPPOSED to take away from this is that Jack Thompson is an idiot.

Yet another reason why I hate the man. Him and everyone like him give other Christians a bad name.
What's that Jack? Since we play video games we are consequentially unable to operate a device as complex as a dictionary? We're all completely illiterate? Well Jack, I'd say you were an ignorant, biased, overzealous prick, but I'd think it would be much more effective to just shove that dictionary straight up into your ass. My only concern is if it will fit or not, what with all the other things that have seemed to have gotten lodged in there...

I actually agree with ITS in the matter of religion here. I was arguing with someone earlier today saying organized religion is necessary and a useful function for spirituality (though admittedly I will say I am not highly educated on the concept).
This just proves that Jack Thompson is an asshole.
