LASER

This is really cool.

An ultra high powered laser has been developed to equip to airports and the like to prevent missile/artillery/pretty much anything to attack them.

How long will it be until someone straps one of these onto a gun?

According to somewhere else on the interweb this laser is powerful enough to cut through most things. When it hits the missile, it damages it, cuts through it, and heats it up enough to make it explode.

Now the question is, "How long until we start launching rocks with catapults again?
